Thomas was born April 20, 1930 in Elkhart, KS to William and Augusta Tucker. He served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1954 during the Korean War. He worked for the Guymon Daily Hearld for 13 and half years from 1963 to 1976 as a Commercial Artist in Advertizing. He was a member of the Guymon Bowling League and a fisherman. He was a Lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and the Disable Veterans.
He is survived by a son, William Tate Tucker and fiance Angelique Poire of Amarillo, TX, a brother, W.N. "Bill" Tucker Jr. of Independance, KS and a grandson, Kotten Tate Tucker of Borger, TX.
