Sandie Woods, 72 passed from this life on Friday, February 17, 2023, in Borger, Texas.

She was born Sandra Kay “Sandie” Mendenhall on July 14, 1950, in Hedley, Texas to Doug and Jo Mendenhall.

Sandie enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting and reading. Sandie married Steve Woods in 1988 in Amarillo.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Woods and her parents Doug Mendenhall and Jo Ferguson.

Left to cherish her memory are six sons, Tim Starr and wife Nichole of Amarillo, Texas, Don Woods and wife Vivian of Pueblo, Colorado, David Woods of Pueblo, Colorado, Duane Woods and wife Aimee of Grovetown, Georgia, Darrell and his wife Rebekah of Pueblo, Colorado and Darrin Woods and wife Susan of Amarillo, Texas; two daughters, Vickie Hook and husband Rick of Amarillo, Texas and Carla Holsey and husband Brian of Borger, Texas; one sister, Glenda Pulliam of Amarillo, Texas; 31 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
