Yvonne Vandever, 82, of Amarillo died on Thursday, May 5, 2016. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 9, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 8400 Hunsley Road, Canyon, Texas.
Yvonne was born on January 1, 1934 in Pilot Point, Texas to Durwood and Dessie Vandever. She worked as a caregiver for a group home and she was also a cook.
She is survived by her five children, David Chavis, Debra Stevenson, Vicki Snow, Kimberly Chavis and Todd Chavis, two sisters, June Rudd, and Edna Harvey; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
