William L. "Bill" Ferguson, 93, of Amarillo died on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Pastor Bob Miller officiating. Private graveside services will be at Llano cemetery.
William, L. "Bill" Ferguson was born on December 13, 1920 in Clarendon to Ralph and Eula Ferguson. He proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. Bill was a supervisor for Cabot Corporation for 16 years. He maried his wife, Betty in 1998 in Amarillo. He was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church and loved his Bible and strong beliefs. His family was very important to him and he loved spending time with them, but he absolutely adored his wife Betty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a daughter, Margaret Ann Bingham.
He is survived by his wife Betty of the home; one son Chuck Jones of Amarillo; a daughter Gwen McGranahan and husband Mark of Placitas, NM; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cal Farley's Boy Ranch or a favorite Charity.
