William Phoukham "P.K." Douangdara

William "P.K." Douangdara, 50, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 27, 2017 in LaGronge Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
William was born on June 6, 1967 in Vientiane, Laos to Dwight and Nancy Douangdara. He grew up in Amarillo where he graduated from Palo Duro High School. He attended Amarillo College before transferring to West Test A & M University where he received his degree in Business. P.K. worked for Tyson Foods for more than 20 years as a line supervisor. He enjoyed many outdoor activities and being with family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Dwight and Nancy Douangdara; his sister, Barbara Koumphonpakdy; brothers, Pradith Douangdara and David Douangdara; sons, David Vongoudom and Minh Ngo and a host of loving family and friends.
