William 'Cal" Blessen, 93, of Amarillo died on Friday, September 19, 2014. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Cal Blessen was born on June 21, 1921 in Bushland to William and Bessie Blessen. Cal graduated from West Texas High in Canyon. He worked for Miller Radiator for over 30 years. Besides working at Miller radiator, Cal loved drinking coffee with his buddies at the Blue Front Cafe.
Cal was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Irvin and Raymond Blessen.
Cal is survived by his wife Lucille, a brother Bob Blessen and wife Fran, all of Amarillo and numerous nieces and nephews.
