William Roy “Bill” Frow left this earth and went to be with Jesus on Thursday, August 15, 2024. He was born on February 28, 1939, to Leroy and Katie Frow in Farmington, Iowa. He was proceeded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bernice Kula and Laura Lee Kennard. Bill married Barbara Ann Wilson in Donnellson, Iowa on June 7, 1958, and they celebrated 66 years together this year. Bill thought there was “nothing better” than being with his family. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his sister Jean Deere, his son and daughter-in-law Steve and Amy Frow, his daughter and son-in-law Susan and David Hattz, and the grandkids he was so proud of – Evan and Carson, Lauren, Blake and Nih, Chase and Gracie.
He began his career in Burlington, Iowa and transferred to Pantex working in the Quality Department for a total of 45 years. Bill was proud to serve on the Panhandle ISD School Board and work with the Boy Scouts in Iowa and Panhandle, Texas. He loved singing with the talented people in the Panhandle Methodist Church choir for many years and appreciated the great people of St. Paul Methodist Church in Amarillo during his later years. Bill built and flew remote-controlled airplanes and enjoyed being out on the golf course. The number of miles he ran, hiked, and biked were incalculable. We are so thankful to have had him in our lives as husband, brother, dad, and grandpa.
