Wilber Eugene Wells

Wilber Eugene Wells, 76, of Amarillo, passed away on February 18, 2022 in Amarillo.  He was born on August 3, 1945 in Guymon, OK to the late Elmer and Evelyn Wells.  Wilber served his country in the United States Air Force for 21 years and was a graduate of ORU Bible Institute.  He enjoyed fishing, watching the races on TV, visiting with friends and was a good western dancer.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn “Kay” Wells of Amarillo; children, Michal Wells and wife Teresa, Kevin Stump, Marilyn Sue Stump Parish and husband Shane, Ty Lewis Wells and wife Faith and Chad Bayless and wife Jennifer; siblings, Lawrence (Butch) Wells, Laura Selby, Jody Tidwell, Marilyn Bishop and Doris Wells; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Logan Wells.

A visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home, 8310 S. Coulter, Amarillo.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Terry and Glenda Mason officiating.  Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery East.
