Wanda May Nelson

Wanda May Nelson, 66, died on November 14, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas.

Mrs. Nelson was born on March 1, 1956, in Lockney, Texas to Thomas and Mamie Ritchey.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Amarillo.

She was a graduate of Palo Duro High School and retired from Potter County.  She loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and all the old movies and series on television.  She was an animal lover, especially her cats.   She loved spending time with her family and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Vernon Ritchey.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Harvey Nelson; two children Christy Nelson and Jeremy Nelson; sister Dee Johnson and twin sister, Donna Bilbrey and husband Dewain.

Visitation for Mrs. Nelson will be Saturday, November 19th, 2022 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo, Texas.
