Vy V Hoang

January 1, 1930 — February 20, 2012

Rosary will be at 7:00p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00AM Saturday February 25, 2012 at Our Lady of Vietnam Catholic Church, 2001 N. Grand St. with Father John Tran as Celebrant  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East.

Mr. Hoang was born on January 1, 1930 in Vietnam to Van and Ng-Hi Hoang.   Mr. Hoang served in the Army as a gun specialist for 21 years.   He has been a resident of Amarillo since 1979. Mr. Hoang worked at IBP till his retirement in 1995. Mr. Hoang was dearly loved by his family and grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Thinh Nguyen of the home: a son Cuong Hoang and wife Kim of Amarillo; a daughter Thai Hoang  of Amarillo; two sisters Tin Hoang of Mississippi and Y Hoang of Sacramento, CA, four brothers; Dau Hoang and Cu Hoang both of Amarillo and In Hoang and Chu Hoang both of Sacramento, CA, three grandsons, Victor Vo of San Antonio , Chad Hoang and Cody Hoang both of Amarillo and one granddaughter, Tamy Hoang of Amarillo.
