Vivian A. Castellanos

Amarillo, Texas - Vivian "Mary" Castellanos, 70, passed away on September 1st, surrounded by family. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 5th at 1:00 at New Life Church, 406 S. Pittsburgh Street. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery East. Viewing will be Wednesday, September 4th from 1:30 - 8 pm at Lagrone/Blackburn on Martin Road.

Mary was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family . She loved dancing with her husband. She was a big baseball fan, Texas Rangers and Amarillo Sod Poodles.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Viviana Alvarez, father, Leonardo Alvarez, 2 sisters, Anita Ruiz, Josephine Alvarez, 3 brothers, Leonardo, Isidro and Alvino Alvarez.

Mrs. Castellanos is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jesus Castellanos. She is also Survived by 4 daughters and 2 sons. Brenda and husband Nick Biscoglio, Jesus (J.J.) and wife Laurie Castellanos, Vanessa Castellanos, Vito Castellanos, Nina and husband Gillermo Lopez, Sara and husband Joey Rendon all of Amarillo. She has 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters, Celestino and Wanda Alvarez of Indian, Genieva and Antonio Gonzales of Dallas, Franky and Debbie Alvarez, Danny and Dina Alvarez, Billy and Gloria Rosas, and Ricky Alvarez all of Amarillo
