Virginia Walker, 67, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am, Friday, September 25, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Pastor Glen Stocker of Bible Believers Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Virginia was born on April 17, 1948 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Donald and Marie Adkins. Virginia was a homemaker and was always on the go. She was very active in Special Olympics and was always helping people out. She loved listening to music from the 50's and her favorite song was Teen Angel.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorie McCarty and husband Scott of Canyon and Donna Hartge of Amarillo; three sons, Dean Hartge, Lee Hartge and Tom Hartge, all of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Brian McCarty, Jackie McCarty, Cierra McCarty, Mitch McCarty, Aaron Nicholson and Skeily Riggs and one great grandson, Preston McCarty.
