Virginia was born on May 29, 1927 in Lumberton, North Carolina unto Anderson and Sally Holder Britt. She was raised and educated in the Lumberton area. She met and married Leslie Robert “Bob” Post on November 5. 1945. They then moved to Amarillo where she enjoyed being a loving wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was also a respiratory therapist for many years at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Amarillo. She was a member of First Christian Church Disciplines of Christ in Amarillo
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and three brothers
Survivors include her three daughters Ramona Maddox, Mary Morales and husband Dennis of Amarillo and Susie Middleton and husband Ross of Bushland.
Two sons, Randy Post and Linda Dotts and Bobby Post and his wife Charlotte of Amarillo.
One sister Mary Snyder of Hamlet, North Carolina and one brother Gene Britt of Rapid City, South Dakota. 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
