Virginia Hamilton

Virginia Lee Brown Hamilton, 64, Amarillo, Texas passed away September 12th, 2020 at Home. Virginia was born February 27, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas to Imogene Brown Polite and Davie Sells, her step-father Earven Polite Sr. She married to Clellray Hamilton in Amarillo, Texas April 17th, 1976. Virginia earned an Associate Degree in Business. She worked at the City of Amarillo Tax Department as a tax assessor, Affiliated and she loved to work at Toot – n - Totum as a 4X4.
She was a devoted member of Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church which she was a choir member, finance department, announcement clerk. Her hobbies were spending time with her girls at bingo and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Virginia is survived by her husband Clellray Hamilton; daughters: Ynai Hamilton and Rachael Hamilton of Amarillo, Texas grandchildren: Amari Kemp, Ki’Ara Thomas of Amarillo, Texas; great-grandchild: Za’Brianna Kemp; sibling: Bertha Owens (Allison), Thelma Polite of Clarksville, Texas, Doris Jackson, Beverly Polite of  Amarillo, Tx, Judy Polite of Amarillo, Texas, Yvette Polite of  Guthrie, Oklahoma, Roy Polite, Christopher Polite, Anthony Thomas, of Amarillo, Texas, Earven Polite, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Edward Polite of Lubbock, Texas; special cousin/sister: Gwendolyn Davis.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Oscar and Minnie Brown; mother: Imogene Brown – Polite; father: Davie Sells; stepfather: Earven Polite Sr. and sister: Carolyn Sells.
