Vicente Rodriguez

Vicente Gamboa Rodriguez, 85, of Amarillo passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Thursday, August 22, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Friday, August 23, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church in Vega, TX. Burial will follow in the Vega Cemetery.

Vincente Rodriguez was born on March 10, 1934 in Edingurgh, TX to Manual and Albesa Rodriguez. He married Maria in 1958 in Hereford, TX. Vincente worked as a farmer/rancher for all of his life around Wildorado and Vega. He loved spending time with his family and loved going to all of their sporting events. He loved chasing his grandchildren and taking them to buy brown cokes and he will be greatly missed by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maria, three brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by four sons, Jesse Rodriguez and wife Lisa, Joe Rodriguez and wife Susan, Junior Rodriguez and wife Gina and Johnny Rodriguez; a brother, Manual Rodriguez and wife Evita; fourteen grandchildren, Kylie Griffitt and husband Kaden, Kaitlyn Nease and husband Tanner, Megan Blades, Randy Blades, Tasha Anderson and husband Chris, Tod Rodriguez and wife Amanda, Terryn Mosley and husband Justin, Hayden Brown and wife Randa, Shawna Broaddus, Monica Rodriguez, Stephanie Rodriguez, Chris Rodriguez, Corey Beckwith and Shawn Beckwith; twenty great grandchildren, Khloe, Kalli, Krosby, Wesley, Alexis, Ali, Aylissa, Macie, Joseph, Adles, Eli, Kole, Jaden, Brandon,Rone, Tyler, Morgan, Layne, KayBrynn and Kaden.
