Verna Jo Davis

Verna Jo Davis was born May 29, 1952, in Mooreland, OK to Archie V. Davis Jr. and Margaret L. Mathes Davis.  She passed away on April 5, 2023.

She graduated from West Texas State University with an Education degree and taught Art.  She loved the OBU swim team and the USA swim team.  Verna loved The Arts and miniaturizations.  She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, “AV” Archie Davis III, and his son Paul Davis, her sister Clair David Balliett and husband David Balliett DVM and their son Blain Balliett.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
