Valeria "Sam" Ball- Griffin
August 9, 1947 - February 9, 2014

Valeria D'Aun "Sam" Ball- Griffin, age 66, of Amarillo passed away February 9, 2014. Memorial services will be Saturday, February 15 at 2:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.

Valeria  was born August 9, 1947 in Dimmitt to Florence “Sonny” and Mildred Kleman Ball. She lived in Amarillo most of her life and retired as a corrections officer for TDCJ. Her loves were her family and friends, angels and the PBR . She will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Pat and brother in law Tom Simants, a brother Kirk Ball and a brother-in-law Dutch "D.K." Robison and the love of her life, Kenny Conway.

Survivors include her son Chad and wife Wende Belyeu of Umbarger and granddaughters Conner and Katie Belyeu. She also leaves behind her siblings Odetta Robison of Amarillo, Sharolyn Northcutt of Mullen, NE, Darryl Ball and wife Rose of Nazareth, Twila Williams and husband Chris of Nazareth, Renee Martin and husband Ronnie of Littlefield and Kyle Ball of Nazareth. And also many nieces and nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, Memorials be sent to BSA Hospice “Olivia’s Angel’s” of Amarillo or a favorite charity.
