Valarie was born June 10, 1959 to Charles and Zeta Seymour. She attended Amarillo High School. She had previously been employed by Bangers and Hastings Books and Music.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Seymour in 2001, sister, Denise Pelfrey and brother, Bobby Lorimer.
Her survivors include her son, Randall Seymour and wife Mandy; daughter, April Seymour; mother, Zeta Gillem and Dee Ann Seymour; grandson, Braedon Seymour; brother, Russell Seymour and wife Toni; sisters, Kim Dowdy and husband Don and Billie Gillem.
