Val Quiggle, 77 of Amarillo passed away on July 20, 2011.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering from 2-4 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Coulter Chapel, 8310 Coulter Road, Amarillo, TX
Val was born on April 8, 1934 in Thebes, IL to George and Daisy Light. She attended Penn High School. She married Bob L. Quiggle on March 30, 1955. He preceded her in death. Her husband was her best friend. Val was a devoted, loving wife and mother.
Survivors include her 2 sons, James Quiggle and wife Linda of Amarillo and Larry Quiggle and wife Anita of Rio Rancho, NM; 2 daughters, Marquetta Hollar and husband Howard, and Kendra Patton, both of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren, Norman Heath Quiggle, Amy Mackenzie, Lisa Brady, Jason Quiggle, Kristen Gullickson, Michael Quiggle, William Wolfs, David Wolfs, Marissa Hollar and Heston Hollar and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and foods, the family suggest memorial contributions to BSA Hospice: 600 N. Tyler, Amarillo, TX 79107
