Vada Hall

Vada was born on May 25, 1909 in Idabel, Oklahoma to Frank and Nannie Bain.  She began college education at Abilene Christian College and from Texas Tech University she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 1937 and her Master’s Degree in 1940.  Vada taught English and Speech at Amarillo High and Caprock High from 1958-1974.  She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. She belonged to Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Kappa Kappa Iota, Amarillo Classroom Teachers Association and the Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Oliver Bain and Frank Bain; 3 Sisters Viola Barrett, Hazel Kneeper and Ether Kennamer
She is survived by Son: Edward R. Hall and wife Kathy
Grandchildren: Deadra Hall Kumpel and husband Matthew; Randy Hall and wife Stephanie Great-Grandchildren: Joshua Kumpel and Nicholas Kumpel
