Troy Eugene Jones, age 76, of Amarillo passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Daryl Roach, officiating.
Troy was born February 22, 1938 in Ft. Worth to Grady and Margaret (Cockerham) Jones. he met and married the love of his life Carol Johnson in Clarendon, Tx. on April 4, 1959. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator and was employed by L.A. Fuller at the time of his death.
Troy is survived by his wife of 55 years Carol of Amarillo and two sons Gary Eugene and wife Laura Jones and Charles Wayne Jones all of Amarillo. He is also survived by his greatest joys, his four grandchildren, Caleb Alexander Jones, Kelsey Cheyenne and husband Diego Garcia, Treyton Colson and Kari Lynn Barthalomew as well as his two great grandchildren, Karmah Jones and Matthew Garcia.
