Tommy Nokkeo Sophapmysay of Amarillo passed away on August 13, 2022. He was born June 1, 1972, in Laos to Khamla and Tina (Thongsavanh) Sophapmysay. Tommy graduated from Palo Duro High School and graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Amarillo College. He went on to graduate from Texas Tech University with a degree in Sciences of Electrical Engineering. Tommy was an accountant with Tyson Foods and was affiliated with the Buddhist Temple. Tommy loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed spending time with family, and loved to travel. Music was Tommy’s passion. He loved guitars and loved to eat.

He is survived by Kham and Andrea Sophapmysay, Linda Bountien Sophapmysay, Lanon Vixay, Kevin Sophapmysay, Jennifer Tovar, Bryan Sophapmysay, Mikayla Sophapmysay, Sky Sophapmysay, Layla Sophapmysay, Nathan Sophapmysay, Lily Sophapmysay, and Julian Lanon.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 19, 2022, at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Cremation will follow at Memory Gardens Crematory.
