January 9, 1962 - October 29, 2014
Timothy J. Pace, age 52, of Amarillo passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Memorial services will be Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Pastor Trae Sweatt of Hillside Christian Church officiating.
Tim was born in Amarillo on January 9, 1962. He was a member of the Tascosa High School graduating class of 1980 and graduated from Amarillo College in 1982. He worked for many years as an IT Security Managing Director. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Levi Green and adopted father James C. Pace. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents Gerald and Perlina Rogers, Glen and Lila Green and Mary Jo and William Pace.
Tim played every sport in high school imaginable, and always strived to be #1. His life was full of adventure and travel. He was a master scuba diver, pro racquetball player, skydiver, golfer, and world traveler. He was passionate about everything, and had such a will to learn and teach. His love for all kinds of music and photography were such a big part of his life so that he could save the moment and its beauty. But above all, his heart was bigger than any other and cherished by his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter Brittany and husband, Nate Raymond, of Sutherland, Neb., his mother Carolyn Pace of Amarillo and a sister Kimberly and husband, Venanzio Arquilla, of Hinsdale, Ill. He is also survived by a grandfather, Radar Thomas, his aunts and uncles Robert Pace, Jerry and Linda Rogers, Gene and Glenda Nance, as well as, nieces and nephews Isabella M. Arquilla, Primo M. Arquilla, Giorgio R. Arquilla, August Walker, Madison and husband Anthony, Gaby and WIlson Golightly. He also leaves behind his ex wife and friend Laurie Golightly Pace and her parents John and Sharla Golightly.
The family would like to give special thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Northwest Texas Hospital who cared for Tim in his many stays.
