Thongsamouth Sisomphou

Thongsamouth Sisomphou was born on March 15, 1937 in Sihom Viengtiane. She arrived in Amarillo TX with some of her children in 1979 and called this place her new home. Thongsamouth was able to recently pass her citizen test and became a proud US citizen! She will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother who had 13 children she loved and sacrificed so much for.

Thongsamouth’s two children are deceased, two son's in Canada, five in the US and four in Thailand. She had twenty five grandkids and twenty 21 great grandkids.

She was a very strong woman and dedicated to  working hard to raise her children. She loved to make jokes and make people laugh, and she had a sarcastic sense of humor.  May we all remember her laugh, her smile, and how much she brought us all together with so much joy.
