Teresa Eakins, 61, of Borger died on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Holt Cemetery with Danny Hendricks officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors.
Teresa was born on January 6, 1956 in Perryton to Tilden and Joyce Scroggs. Teresa loved all kinds of puzzles, especially jigsaw puzzles. Teresa lived life to the fullest and she was an absolute fantastic cook known for her goulash, stuffed bell peppers and salmon patties, just to name a few dishes. She loved to feed everyone, but her real passion was how proud she was of her children and grandchildren. She would have wanted it known, that she died as a result of being stubborn, refusing to follow doctors' orders and raising hell for more than six decades.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Williamson and her grandson, Maverick Austin Villines.
She is survived by her two daughters, Chelsey Westfall and husband Kirk and Deidre Memnon and husband David; three sons, Jason Villines and wife Angela, Casey Villines and wife Jenifer and Dave Pope; her father, Tilden Scroggs, a brother, Larry Scroggs; two sisters, Delinda Piatt and Kimberly Rex and ten grandchildren.
