Temma Madsourivong, 74, of Amarillo passed on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 23, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Arrangements by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Street.
Temma was born on August 3, 1941 in Savannakhet, Laos to Bounmy and Than Madsourivong. He joined the Laos Army where he served with the United States Army Special Forces during the Vietnam War. He married Chanhome Srilasack on June 1964. They moved to Amarillo where he worked as a meat processor at IBP and later he was in environmental services at West Texas A &M University.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Chanhome; his children, Amphavanh, Phadoura, Douangmala, Phoungphaka, Sysamone, Kheuavanh, and Sysongkham; two brothers, three sisters and eighteen grandchildren, along with many loving family and friends.
