Le Van Suc

Le Van Suc, 51, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.
Suc was born in Rach Soi, Vietnam on February 20, 1960 to the late Le Van Njo and Phan Thi Bach. In 1980, he immigrated to Amarillo, Texas, as one of the original boat people and started a career at J & L Greenhouse where he met his first wife Debra Lynn Le. He then started working for Levi Strauss and started attending Amarillo College. He earned numerous certificates for paint and auto body work. A proud accomplishment was taking and completing english as a second language.
In 1987, Suc opened his first business: Le's Body Shop. Soon after, he opened Le's Discount Store and A-1 used auto parts and used cars. He was a very humorous, honorable, respected and loved man in the community. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Tuyet Thi Pham; a son William Van Le of Amarillo; a daughter Danielle Lien Le of Houston, TX; a granddaughter Journie Elizabeth Bell of Houston, TX; his first wife Debra Lynn Le of Amarillo. He is also survived by brothers and sisters; Le Van Cung and Le Thi Thu, both of Vietnam; Le Thi Ha and Le Van Vu, both of Australia and Le My Van of Arlington, TX. He is survived by many other family members and close friends that he loved dearly.
Services to start the celebration of life will begin Thursday, December 5th, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will continue Friday, December 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The last service will begin at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel and last until burial at Llano East Cemetery. All services will be held at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
