Stacy Shawn David

Stacy Shawn David, 55, died November 30, 2023 at his home in Amarillo, Texas. He was born September 14, 1968, in Guymon, Oklahoma, to Carol (Adcox) and C.F. David, Jr. He grew up in Boise City, Oklahoma, Amarillo, and Corpus Christi, Texas, Keyes, Oklahoma, and Dumas, Texas. He attended elementary school in Keyes, and Sunset Elementary, in Dumas, graduating from Dumas High School in 1986. He briefly attended Amarillo College. Stacy worked managing fast food restaurants, however as an artist, it was his work at AAA signs in Amarillo that he found the work that satisfied his soul. He also did I.T. for the company. With much regret, he had to resign when his health failed.
Stacy was preceded in death by his life partner Freddie Garcia, his grandparents Frank and Willa David, Grady and Aleida Adcox, his mother Carol, an unnamed sister, and his uncle Everett David.
He is survived by his parents C.F. and Linda David, siblings Scott, Steven, Shane, Julie May-David, and Michael May-David, David LeGrand, Angela Walls, and Cynthia LeGrand, and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, his workmates at AAA, and lots of friends.
