Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Rd. Chapel with Pastor Robert Newman officiating.
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 Coulter Road
The family will accept guests and friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6-8pm.
Sherry Lynn Cogsdil was born April 18, 1958 in Amarillo to David James and Lois Odean West. She grew up in Denver, Colo. and moved to Canyon in the early 90’s. Sherry loved going camping and road trips to the mountains. She enjoyed board games, movies, and family gatherings during the holidays. Sherry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Joe Garner and David Lane
Sherry is survived by two daughters, Betsy Conner and Lisa Whitfield; a son, Nathan Cogsdil; two brothers, Donald and Eddie West; five grandchildren, Brandon and Brooke Tijerina and Brittany and Brayden Conner and Brycen Martinez and a great-grandchild, Bradley Tijerina.
