Sharon J. Ray was born on October 23, 1949, in Amarillo Texas, to Clifford and Audrey Biggers.
She peacefully departed this life on Thursday September 21, 2023, at her home with her family.
Sharon was known as someone who loved the outdoors and rock hunting. She was good at finding the diamond in the rough. She was stubborn and ornery, while at the same time caring and kind. She had a fierce love for her family and would do anything for them. She also had a beautiful relationship with her God and her savior Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her mother Audrey Biggers and father Clifford Biggers.
Sharon Ray is survived by the love of her life, husband Richard Ray Sr, her son David Gregory, her stepson Rich Ray and wife Tracey Ray, and daughter Jeanette Canady-Shirley and husband Austin Shirley, her older sister Carol Mills, her twin sister Shirley Overstreet, and her younger sister Holly Cargo and husband Steve Cargo, and brother Herb Biggers and girlfriend Laurie Camp. Sharon lovingly known as Gammy Sharon had one grandson, Gavin Canady, and four granddaughters, Madilyn Gregory, Natalee Gregory, Maia Ray, and BrookLynn Shirley. Nieces and nephews include Jeff Mills, Greg Mills, Angie Krawietz, Stephanie Cargo, Samantha Hamlin, Racheal Fite, and Regan Ray.
