Shana DeLayne Echevarria

Shana (Rutz) Echevarria ascended to heaven and went to be with our Lord on June 23, 2023 at the age of 55. Shana was born on December 25, 1967, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Shana went to Texas Cosmetology School and enjoyed owning her own salon, Shear Joy in Amarillo, Texas. She touched everyone she met with her kindness and generosity. Shana exuded love, compassion and humor.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Milford and Alice Rutz, J.O. and Evelyn Cates.

Shana is survived by her children Avery and Caden Echevarria, her father Ben L. Rutz, her mother Bonita Jean Cates, two brothers Dana Rutz and Ben James Rutz, many cousins and an abundance of friends.

A celebration of life will be held at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home 8310 S. Coulter Rd. Amarillo, Texas Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
