Sal Ramirez, 23, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Monday, December 1, 2014 at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Antonio Galindo as Celebrant. Rosary will be said at 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 30, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Sal Ramirez was born on September 11, 1991 to Salvador and Josefina Ramirez in Lancaster, California. The family moved to Amarillo where Sal graduated from Palo Duro High School and then graduated Milan School for Cosmetology as a licensed barber. Sal had a strong ambition to be a barber. He liked to watch television and play video games. Sal also liked playing with the family dogs, "Chachi" and "Aspen", but most of all, Sal loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Carla Vasquez Morales and husband Pedro and Diana Ramirez; a brother Erick Ramirez, all of Amarillo; his grandparents, Jose Ramirez and wife Maria Luisa and Artemio Vazquez and ex-wife Angela Roman, all of Mexico and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
