Ruth Ann Palmer, 70, of Amarillo died on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Bell Ave Church of Christ.
Ruth was born on February 4, 1945 in Norristown, Pennsylvania to Aaron and Grace Benfield. She married Coyt Palmer on July 22, 1967 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Ruth attended Amarillo College for Nursing and she worked for numerous years in the nursing field. She was a member of Bell Ave Church of Christ. Ruth enjoyed fishing, doing crossword puzzles and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Coyt; daughter and son in law, Carol and Tom Williams; son and daughter in law, Dean and Tonya Palmer; sister, Robin Green and her husband, Donald; grandchildren, Andrew, Marcus, Brooke, Tommy, Ashlan and Bryan and eight great grandchildren.
