Ruben Solis

Our beloved Ruben Solis, age 54 was called early to our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 22nd, 2023.

Ruben, fondly known as "El Guero" was born to Lilia and Librado on June 16th, 1968, in San Antonio, TX. He had a strong firm character, however was always smiling, joking around and playing pranks with his co-workers. Was always attentive to others, willing to help in any way. A very punctual person and respectful to others. He loved to pray and fast. He was devoted to God, and his family.

He loved to do cookouts, and enjoying sweets, his favorites were snow cones and fresas con crema from ‘El Trópico’. He loved going to the house of the lord to worship and hear his word. Aside from that he loved going to the gym and taking power naps, along with going to the movie theater. He followed the practice of having a good-work life balance and prioritizing both professional growth and personal enjoyment.

Ruben loved to spend his free time with family and talking to friends. He was a man of class. Ruben was very respectful of his Pastor. He cared and appreciated him so much, they established a good friendship. He loved his children dearly and cherished his time with them. Ruben was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Ruben is survived by his wife Irma Solis, his mother Lilia, and `his five children, Ruben, Crystal, Javier, Alexia and Jaden. His two stepsons Oscar and Bryan. He is also survived by his two brothers Julio and Librado Jr and eight grandchildren. As well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ruben was preceded in death by his father Librado Solis.
