Rosario T. Diaz, 81, of Amarillo died on Monday, May 11, 2015. Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Father Jose Gomez as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery.
Rosario was born on April 20, 1934 in Santa Maria del Oro, Durango to Juan and Josephina Talamantes. She was a homemaker. Rosario was an amazing strong and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed as much as she was loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis and three brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Veronica Coffee and husband John and Patty Diaz; a son, Martin Diaz, all of Amarillo; four brothers; one sister; three grandchildren, Lauren Dubina, Ronnie Trujillo and Jory Prado, all of Amarillo; three great grandsons, Damien Trujillo, Ethan Trujillo and Jalen Trujillo, all of Amarillo.
