Rosalie was born September 24, 1922 in Floyd County, Texas, to Walter and Laura (Gray) West. She attended from Amarillo High School. Rosalie married Harvey Lockwood on December 31, 1941. They had three children, Johnny, Sharon and Sally. Rosalie and Harvey were married for 42 years until his passing on September 23, 1983.

Rosalie married Gebo Clark on January 9, 1989. They were married for 19 years until his passing on February 24, 2008. Rosalie was known to her family as a beautiful, loving, precious Wife, Mother, Grandma, GeGe, Sister, Aunt and friend. She loved spending time with her family celebrating birthdays and holidays or anytime they could get together for a visit. She enjoyed traveling especially to the mountains and spent many summers with family and friends watching hummingbirds, deer and elk and all of nature outdoors. Rosalie had a talent for many hobbies but loved sewing, needlepoint and quilting the best. She was a blessing to us all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harvey Lockwood; her second husband, Gebo Clark; her son, Johnny Lockwood; a sister, Betty Wosnitzky; a brother, Daniel West and a grandson, Mike Anderson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Sharon Anderson and Sally Johnson, both of Amarillo; one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Lockwood, of Amarillo; one sister, Leatrice West, of Abilene; one brother, Joe West of Whitney, Texas; five grandchildren, April Hewlett (Randle); Steve Anderson (Georgann), John Lee Lockwood (Jean), Jimmy Lockwood, Ben Anderson (Nora) and Mike Anderson’s spouse (Amy). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to Grace Hospice Foundation 3232 Hobbs Rd, Amarillo, Texas 79109 or to Disabled American Veterans P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250.
