Rosa Linda Zaragoza

Rosa Linda Zaragoza, 52, of Amarillo passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Lagrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at St. Laurence Catholic Church in Amarillo. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East. Services are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.

Rosa Linda was born on February 19, 1966 in Canyon, Texas to Nellie Maestas. She was raised by her grandparents, Lalo and Chon Maestas. Rosa Linda graduated from Alamo Catholic High School in 1984. She married her Honey Pot, Amancio "Armando" Zaragoza in July, 1992.

Rosa Linda loved her children, Adrian Zaragoza and Kiara Rakel very much. She also loved her fur babies, Shadow, Chocolate, Nala and Coco. She was a huge fan of Michael Jackson and loved entertaining everyone with her MJ dance routines.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Lalo and Chon Maestas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 26 years, Amancio "Armando" Zaragoza; her children, Adrian Zaragoza and Kiara Rakel Zaragoza; her parents, Alfredo and Nellie Hernandez; 3 sisters, Ramona Martinez, Christina Mayhall, Bianca Sandoval, all of Amarillo; 5 brothers, Fred Hernandez of Manassas, Virginia, Roland Hernandez, Ralph Hernandez, Robert Hernandez and Rene Hernandez, all of Tulia. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
