Rosa E. Wilson, 68, of Amarillo died on Sunday, August 31, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 5, 2014 with Father Jose Gomez as Celebrant. Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 4, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Rosa E. Wilson was born on April 11, 1946 to Benny and Bernada Martinez in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Rosa was a very loving, kind hearted and giving lady. She loved to play Spanish bingo but her favorite past time was spending time with her family.
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gillespie Wilson.
Rosa is survived by her son, Manuel Hernandez and wife Mary of Amarillo; three sisters, Emma Hernandez and husband Tony, Antonia Ramirez and husband Edmundo, both of Amarillo and Mary Lou Rodriguez and husband Pete of Tulia; three brothers, Ralph Martinez, Martin Martinez and Johnny Martinez and wife Mary, all of Amarillo; three grandsons and one great grandchild.
