Rory Moore, 53, died on Friday, May 30, 2014. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Kevin McBride of Christian Heritage Church officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Rory was born on January 11, 1961 to Robert and Helen Moore in Pueblo, Colorado. Rory graduated from Tascosa High School in 1978. He was very active in the Boy Scouts of Amarillo; he was an Eagle Scout and a brotherhood member of "The Order of the Arrow". Rory enjoyed photography, golf, swimming, cooking and eating a variety of foods, especially spicy ones. He also loved playing with his dog, Pebbles, and cheering for the Denver Broncos. Rory was an intelligent, inquisitive, and quick witted man who loved his family and friends very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Karen and two daughters, Kyla and Rylee, all of Amarillo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Camp Don Harrington.
