Ronnie Reyes Rodriguez, 46, of Amarillo died on Saturday, December 27, 2014.
Ronnie was born on December 8, 1968 in Sacramento, CA to Elias and Carol Rodriguez. He was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Caprock High School in 1987. Ronnie enlisted in the Navy and proudly served his country. After being honorably discharged, he attended the University of Washington in Seattle where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1994. He was employed as a pharmaceutical sales rep for more than 20 years. Ronnie had a natural ability to play several different musical instruments but, his favorite was being the center stage lead guitarist and vocalist. He loved to rock out and get the audience excited and loved to watch people dance to his music. He was especially proud of his natural talent.
Most of all, Ronnie was a devoted father to his two children, Rion and Sydney Rodriguez.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol and his grandparents, Howard and Lorraine Hart.
He is survived by his father, Elias Rodriguez; a brother Bobby Rodriguez and wife Jessica of Marietta, CA; two sisters, Julia HIll and Cholie DeLeon and husband Rick, both of Amarillo; six nephews, Anthony Gray, Jeremy Gray, Damien Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Matthew Rodriguez and Noah Rodriguez, all of Amarillo; three nieces, Isabella Grivois, Gabby DeLeon and Vanessa DeLeon of Amarillo.
