Ronnie Gene England

Ron England was born to B.D. “Speck” and Jo Ann England on August 22, 1951 in Amarillo, TX.  .  He was married to Rebecca Chrostowski on December 18, 2007 in Amarillo.  Ron worked as a SWAT trainer for Pantex before working a short time with NASA in Houston.  Ron served in Iraq before he went to work for the Amarillo College Police Department.  He enlisted in the Marine Corps when he was 17 and served in Vietnam with the 1st Recon Infantry Division He also served.  Ron was a member of Victory Church and loved to ride his motorcycle.  He was accomplished at woodworking.  Ron was a great man who touched many lives and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Dory and wife Debbie England and Danny and wife Stephanie England, his wife, Rebecca England of Amarillo, 4 sons, Ricky England and wife Connie of Lubbock, TX, Jimmy England of Amarillo, Donnie England of Amarillo, and Randy England and Wife Kim of Amarillo, 2 daughters, Angela England of USMC, and Serina England of Amarillo, 2 step-daughters, Laura Prado of Amarillo, and Amanda Funderburg of Amarillo, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Lee England.
