Ronnie L. Chase, 72, of Amarillo died on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, 600 N Ward, Pampa, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S Coulter St., Amarillo, Texas.

Ronnie was born on September 5, 1944 in Pampa, Texas to Robert Lee and Mae Joy Chase. He graduated from Pampa High School where he was a dedicated Pampa Harvester. He was known for and blessed with athletic ability. Ronnie owned and operated Chase Oil Company in Pampa and subsequently worked for Phillips Petroleum until retiring in Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Robert Chase and wife Cathy, Shelly Chase, Heidi Chase and Heather Ford; a sister, Judy Butler and husband, Stan; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous cousins.
