Memorial service will be Monday October 17 at 2:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home Coulter Road Chapel with Air Force honors. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Roland was born June 9, 1923 in New Iberia Louisiana to Duvalcourt and Amica Dugas. He proudly served in the US Air Force and retired after 20 years. In civilian life Roland worked for TWA as a mechanic and retired after 20 years. He loved golfing, cooking and was an avid Cardinals and LSU fan. The family would like to thank Interim Hospice for the love and care given to Roland and the family during his sickness.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.
Roland is survived by his wife, Cynthia Dugas; four children, Joslyn, Renee, Connie and Rene’; four brothers; two sisters and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
