Rodney Dijon Reneau

Rodney Dijon Reneau, 50 of Amarillo passed away on December 3, 2011.
His service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo, TX Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors.
Mr. Reneau was born on July 10, 1961 in 29 Palms, CA to Gene and Eileen Reneau. He grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School. Rodney worked for several years at the Amarillo International Airport and also worked for several years in the construction industry as a welder. He enjoyed working on old cars, fishing and camping. Rodney was a good friend to many and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Reneau in 1998 and his mother Eileen Reneau in 2006.
Survivors include his daughter, Amber LaDawn Smith; his father Gene Reneau; a brother, Gary Dale Reneau and his grand-daughter, Kyra Torres all of Amarillo, and a niece Sherry and three nephews, Daniel, Bobby Gene and Jeff Reneau.
