Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Thursday, August 11, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home Martin Road Chapel. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Burial will be in Llano Cemetery following the funeral service with military honors.
The family will accept guests and friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
Rodney was born May 6, 1949 in Frederick, OK to William Anderson and Mattie Lucille Langford. He married Evelyn Sue Taylor on August 19, 1968. Rodney was a Viet Nam veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from J. Lee Milligan, Inc. in 2011 after 38 years. Rodney loved his family and friends. He was always remodeling something, working in his flower gardens and collecting bald eagle figurines. Rodney will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Sue; a son, Matthew and wife Anna; two grandsons, Erick and Lukas; his mother, Mattie; a brother, David Langford and a sister, Mary Kerbo, all of Oklahoma.
