Roberto F. Hernandez

Roberto Hernandez, 90 years old, from Amarillo, TX, passed away, and went to heaven on December 2, 2020. Roberto was born in Amarillo, TX son of Jose Hernandez and Luisa Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez's heart was golden, always showing kindness to others and a man of integrity and strength, and he will  be missed.

Mr. Hernandez retired from the Pantex  Plant, after  retirement he enjoyed working as a crossing guard attendant for the AISD. He enjoyed taking walks and was a long time sports fan.

Roberto is preceded in death by a daughter Lydia Hernandez and son Robert Hernandez and eight siblings. He is survived by three grandchildren Yvonne Jimnenez, daughter of Lydia Hernandez. His son Robert Hernandez two children, Robert Hernandez and Shavonne Hernandez Herrera and sister Felicitas Diaz, eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be held at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw 1505 Martin Road Amarillo, TX 79107 on December 19, 2020 visual beginning at 1:00 PM. Rosary will be held at 2:00 PM. Following the funeral services Roberto Hernandez will be transported to Llano Cemetery.
