Robert "Bob" J. Pace, 82, of Amarillo died on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Memorial service will be at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, February, 16, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church, 3208 S Van Buren Street, with Pastor Chad Mantooth, officiating. A private family burial will be held at Llano Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 from noon until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Bob was born on January 28, 1934 in Strong City, Oklahoma to Bill and Mary Joe Pace. He served in the Texas Army National Guard . Bob married Patsy Minton on October 11, 1958 in Clovis, New Mexico. He worked as carpenter superintendent for Page & Associates until his retirement. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Bob was an avid OU fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patsy Pace, a daughter, Vickie Woodland, two brothers, Billy Lee Pace and James C. Pace.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Ann Pace, and Susie Moore, grandchildren, Amanda Moore, Nicholas Moore, Calen Moore, Sidney Cortez, Woodland, and Robert Woodland; close friends, Paul and Emily Schnatz and their daughter, Shelby Thomas.
The family would like to thank the staff at Vibra Hospital ICU for the loving care they gave to Bob.
