Robbie Glenn Wilkinson, 50 of Amarillo passed away June 11, 2011.
Mr. Wilkinson's funeral service will at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road with Rev. Danny Lucas officiating.
Burial will follow in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley at 2:00 pm.
Mr. Wilkinson was born July 5, 1960 in Amarillo to Billy and Doris Wilkinson. He grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School. He drove a school bus for Durham AISD until the time of his passing. He loved sports and especially baseball. Robbie also enjoyed car racing at the drag strip and he took 1st place at “washer pitching”. Robbie also loved to hunt flint and arrowheads and he enjoyed having cook-outs with his family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wilkinson and one sister, Elaine.
His survivors include his mother, Doris Wilkinson; two sister’s, Candy Woods & Margie Oster both of Amarillo; two brother’s, Billy Wilkinson of Amarillo and Chris Ray of Lubbock.
