Richard H. Scholz, age 56, of Amarillo passed away April 24, 2013.
A memorial service will be at 4:00pm Thursday, May 2, 2013 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home, Martin Road Chapel, 1501 Martin Road, Amarillo, Texas. LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors of Amarillo is in charge of arrangements.
Richard was born on April 17, 1957 in Amarillo unto Erich and Bridgette (Adomchick) Scholz. Richard was the chief engineer at Quality Inn and Suites of Amarillo.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Erich and Bridgette Scholz, his daughter Kendra Scholz and three brothers Klaus, Erich and Eddie and his wife Karen (Remlinger) Scholz whom he married on April 18 1975.
He is survived by a son Erich Scholz of Portland, Texas, a daughter Angela Carter of Amarillo, Texas, three brothers Karl Scholz of Ransom Canyon, Texas., Helmut Scholz and David Scholz both of Amarillo, two grandchildren Avion and Avery Carter of Amarillo.
