Richard Reynero, 67, passed away on February 14, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas. He was born on June 19, 1956, in Brownfield, Texas, to Rumaldo Reynero and Eva Reynero. He married Lydia Reynero in Muleshoe, Texas, in November of 1973.
Mr. Reynero attended Muleshoe High School and then started working for Fuller & Sons Construction in Amarillo, Texas. He worked there for over 41 years, but he also loved to tinker on his vehicles and work in his yard. He loved to dance, have family BBQs, and play pool. He loved pool so much that he belonged to many leagues, the last one being MJ’s Pool League. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and would help anyone who needed him, but most of all, he loved his family. His eight grandchildren called him “Popo” and he had nicknames for all of them. He had great pride for two grandsons who are serving their country. Israel Nunez is in the Air Force and Isaiah Browning is a Marine. He was a very funny man who loved being a jokester.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife Lydia, his parents, Rumaldo and Eva Reynero, one sister, Susan Garcia, and one brother-in-law, George Hernandez.
His survivors include his daughter Belinda Reynero Ruiz, her eight children: Israel (Brenda) Nunez and their daughter, Athena Nunez, Isaiah Browning, Jeremiah Browning, Izabella Browning, Zacarias Ruiz, Zeke Ruiz, Zantiago Ruiz, and Zuri Ruiz, along with his sister Beatriz Hernandez and her children Michelle St. Clair and Jose Garcia, and his brothers, Carlos (Stella) Reynero and children Reta Reynero, Angela Rodriguez and Eric Reynero, Robert (Debbie) Reynero, and Jorge Reynero.
